Hi .. its been 4 months i applied for sowp as my hubby is full time student at Concordia university Montreal .. for pakistan the time period they show is 9 month.. n till today there are no further updates ... as its v.hard for me to living apart from him like this we only got 2 month together .. ok .. now my question is i want to apply visitor vissa for 6 months atleast i want to visit him desperately he cant come because of his papers n semesters problem.. so what i have to show if i want to go for 6 months .. i can show my incomplete studiea or enrolment for my papers as im undergraduate i can show enough funds for me n my husband even i can show my part time job letter as im working in my fathers company.. is it ok.. to apply for visitor while my spow is also filed.. i want to visit more than 6 month because of his birthday n anniversary if i got that much time we can spend these 2 occasion together plzz guide me im so confuse what to do .. to go to my husband

Visitors are not meant to stay for such long periods, and requesting 6 months to visit a husband is basically an automatic refusal.Jazbia Usman said:

- Travel history for similar circumstances (that show that you do this kind of travelling in a normal basis)
The correct way to do this is get the SOWP and then request the TRV.
Thanx a lot... but they r taking a lot of time for spouse open work permit.... what should else i do .. there r no further proxess not an inch ... how can i check if there is something wrong with that application if i did a mistake or incomplete .. how ?
