My spouse has 3 children who live in Mexico.. In Jan of 2013 my spouse moved to Canada as a PR.

We want to bring the 3 girls ( aged 11, 16 and 19 ) to visit us this coming summer 2014.

We are currently in Mexico and want to get everything ready to send their visa applications from Canada.

My questions:

1)Has anyone ever heard of CIC refusing a visitor visa application or document because it was too old?
(we want to complete the forms now and have them sign them and then take them to Canada with us... as long as it's the same form when we submit the application, it should be accepted...right?)

2) Has anyone sent an application from within Canada for their children who live outside of Canada? Will that be okay?
(we'd prefer to submit the application ourselves as we will want to include our banking information etc so CIC knows we have enough money to support their visit.)

3) Does the letter that their mom (who has full custody) has to sign...does that need to be notarized? Does anyone have an example letter that I can use to create the letter?

4) Is there anything else we should include or anything else we need to know?

Thanks so much!
