Visitor visa- Father Air ticket & Medical Insurance

Hi there,

If someone can please help me with my question. We are applying for visitor visa for my father to visit Canada for 6 weeks.

1. Do we need to book air ticket before we get visa? Should we have a confirmed air ticket when we submit visa application.
I'm not sure if we book tickets before we get visa or after we get visa?

2. Same for travel medical insurance. Do we buy for visa application or can we buy it after visa is granted?

3. My mother is deceased. Should we attach her death certificate with visa application?

2) No, unless it is a super visa application
3) No, unless you are instructed to provide one
