Okay,
So this is my first time here on the forum and I am wondering if anyone can help me with a question me and my husband are having.
We have applied for inland spousal immigration on January 31st and the application was received in Vegreville on February 3rd. In the meantime as a US citizen I am allowed to stay in Canada for 6 months visa free and after that I have to apply for a visitor visa. I have applied for an extention of my visitor status to Canada in the begining of March as it states to send your application for extention 30 days before your status will be up. My problem is I just noticed that it takes 131 days to process a visitor visa application within Canada. What does this mean for me? I am in a panic. Somebody please help make sense of this. My status will be up by the end of this month. Any advice is welcome.
Thank you
