Hi, I applied a visitor visa extension for my father in august, yesterday I got an email for a medical examination saying the test must be performed by a doctor from IRCC within 30 days..I already booked his return on December 10th,that means after two weeks he is going back..so, should I do the medical test? please advice.

He will likely get extension approval before he leaves, which will be contingent on having done the medical. No medical = no valid extension = overstay.

You already enjoyed the extension so yes you have to do the medical. If you want your parent to be approved in the future you need to do the medical.

My mom had her extension approval email Sept. 28, and received PERMIT through mail Date issued: Sept 27.
But she already went home SEPT.25 so she did not take the medical,cause she is not here in Canada anymore.
Question is, can she come back without any problem? She is planning to come back this FEB.
please help me.

She needed to do the medical. Expect problems if she attempts to extend in the future,

yes, already called CIC, need to undergo medical back home even if its late (more than 30days)and bring the receipt and attach explanation letter (cause my Mom can't speak English) that she go home already and misunderstanding..
