Visitor Visa Extension

Hello everyone!
I've already sent my application to extend my stay as a visitor by paper a week ago, but still I can't link my application to my CIC account and I didn't get any reply from CIC.
My visa expires in 38 days. Should I apply online now or wait until my paper application will be open?
Please help me with your advise

When you say "My visa expires in 38 days" I will assume you refer to your visitor status (and not the TRV).

You have already submitted one application, sending a second one will result in one of them being rejected as you cannot have two applications open at the same time. The rejected one will be the last one to be processed.

It is advisible to wait as you will surely fall into implied status as waiting times are quite long.
