Visitor visa extension question

Hello All,

We sent in our common-law app earlier this month and we sent in a visitor visa extension request just before that so that my partner can stay in Canada while we wait out the process. We're trying to plan for what would happen if her extension request is refused (this would be the second extension) and I was wondering how long you're given to leave Canada if they refuse the extension? I am under the impression that it is 30 days but I am not sure.

Any info would be helpful!

Hi

Yes they give you 30 days to leave. But I'm sure you will get the extension. I sent one about a week before we sent the sponsorship application giving the reason that I wanted to say here for a year while our app. Is being processed and I got the extension.
