please suggest me best option for my parents to overstay after 6 months on visit visa. can I cross the border and Re enter canada in 1 day instead of applying for extension ? Any one experienced this ? . pls suggest me . Thank you

Apply for an extension. That's the best option.

Border run is a bad idea. CBSA doesn't generally like it when people do this as there's a higher chance of things not going your way.
