I'm a US citizen and my boyfriend of 1.5 years is a Canadian citizen. We have had multiple visits to each other and are planning more for the future. If at the end of my bachelors degree (in another 1.5 years) I go to visit my boyfriend would I be able to apply for an extension on my visitor status so that we can establish common law?
