Hello, I am trying to communicate to IRCC and it is imposible. I entered to Canada with a Visitor Visa, then I applied for an OWP but my visitor visa is going to expire and I have not got the OWP yet. My husbund and my daughter have already their Visas. What should I do? I am really worried about that.

I entered on July 12th. The Visa expires on January 12th. One month ago I managed to speak whith an IRCC agent, He told me that with the paper that show I applied for the OWP i could stay legally in Canada as a visitor. But I am not sure. That s why I am asking
You can stay up to 6 months so you need a visitor record to extend stay past Jan 12.
Yes, I know there are 6 months. But I do not know if i can apply for other kind of visa(Visitor record)i f there is in process another one (OWP). And also if it will come on time.
