Hello,
Actually I am an international student in Canada with a valid study permit until 31/08/2017.
However, my visitor visa on my passport has expired this month and I need to go outside Canada. I know that I can't re-enter without a valid visitor visa even if I have a valid Study Permit.
I tried to go on the website to know what proper application and form to fill but seems like I am a bit lost.
The only form that the website suggest me to fill is ( IMM5708E ) which is extend stay, change conditions blabla.
In the application, there is a question -> I am applying for one or more of the following :-
1)Extension of my temporary resident status 2) Restoration of temporary resident status as a visitor 3)Initial temporary resident permit or extension of temporary resident permit.
I don't know which one to pick in order to apply for a new visitor visa from INSIDE Canada.
And it also seems that I don't send my passport anywhere so he comes they will patch a new visa on my passport ?
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Regards
