Hi All!

In my country, I won a contest , "ma thèse en 180 secondes" and the Final of this contest is in Canada in october.

I applied for my visitor visa.

The university in which the contest will took place, sent me a Code for me to indicate it so that my file is processed more quickly.

I indicated it in Application and client iformation.

Sadly, we don't have Canada Ambassy in my country, nobody knew where should i have indicated it.

Do you have any information about that?

Thanks for your time!

I'm not sure what code you are referring to. There is no code that allows an application to be processed more quickly. There is no way to expedite applications.

Applying for a TRV was the right thing to do if you want to visit Canada. Now that you have submitted your application, all you can really do is wait.

Thank you for your response,

it was indicated in my invitation letter saying:

Lors du dépôt de la demande de visa, indiquer obligatoirement le code 22ACFA (code d’évènement spécial attribué à MT180 par le service d’Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada). Ce code permettra aux dossiers des finalistes d’être facilement identifiés, en accélérant le processus.

When submitting the visa application, you must indicate the code 22ACFA (special event code assigned to MT180 by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada service). This code will allow the finalists' files to be easily identified, speeding up the process.

→ google translation.

that's why i asked it and i still have it in mind, worrying not to .... how to say, miss the place where i have to put it :D

Thanks!

This is a special event code. It will make you easier to identify and link you to the event but it doesn't actually speed up processing or influence the decision on the TRV.

Did you apply online or by paper?

Ok, got it, Thanks!

I applied online,

Application on paper is not possible in Georgia (country).

I have to be in Canada 2 october, that's why i am dancing around this code like it's a mircale maker : )

I really want to be in final and i fear the visa will not be in time :) fingers crossed anyways.

Thank you, Scylla, for your time!
