Hello

I am Indian student in Canada. I am suffering from depression and I got letters from two doctors that I need my husband in this condition. But his visitor visa got refused saying that he has no travel history, purpose of visit is not clear, insufficient home ties. Tell me what can somebody do under this condition. I am frustrated with my life, I am newly wed and we are living apart since our marriage...Plzz help.

Your reply is highly appreciated

Although it sounds harsh, maybe you should return home so that you can be with your spouse?

I agree with PMM, why does your husband have to be here? Why cant you go back home and spend some time with him?

I have already visited him four months ago and cant get another break, have to finish my research. I do not want to quit my studies because I got this scholarship and it was my dream. But now my relation is suffering as well as my mental health. Why did they do this to me?

Sometimes you have to make choices and prioritize things relative to what stage you are in life. You have a scholarship, that's good and as you mentioned its your dream which you are living once your studies are completed you two can be together. Besides think of this as a test of your relationship. If both of you can pull this off it can only make your relation stronger. Lots of people here have similar problems, so just hang in there, things always have a way of working out for the best

Thanks friends...but i need some professional advice to get visa, not counselling. I cant spend another year just without him.

Are the medical reason not enough to realize seriousness of the situation to the visa officer? Other thing, Is the visa officer in India always a Canadian person?

thanks dear. He is going to.. :)
