Can we convert visitor visa into study visa and take direct addmission in public college?

No. You cannot convert a permit. You apply for study permit with PAL, letter of admission, pay first year tuition, show funds and apply for a permit. It is processed from your home country so you need to justify costs and show career/education progression when you return.

No. They are applying for a study permit from Canada. You cannot convert to a study permit unless studying for a course that is under 6 months. Can’t work though.

What program have you gotten admission too? Do you have PAL? Paid tuition and showed at least $21k for one person.

It used to be easier but with the new PAL requirement and need to prove more funds what used to be possible may be much more difficult. It is a much better idea to apply from your home country because you need to show strong ties to apply and it makes no sense to spend money not being able to work in Canada for 6+ months many times just waiting. Make sure you select a good public school and a degree that matches skills needed in Canada. Many international students are now in the position where they have a worthless degree in business for example and may have to return home.
