Hello Guys,

I would like to make a query regarding travel dates being missed and not getting BVL/PPR request before your planned travel dates.

The thing is, if you have already submitted confirmed hotel bookings, confirmed departing flight ticket from Canada.

Hotel Bookings are free cancellation before certain dates in june, and flight ticket is also refundable. Travel date is 20th june, Departing date is 28th june.

if somehow your ppr request did not make it before the planned date,

Is it fine to cancel flight ticket and hotel bookings during visa application process?

Eligiblity has been completed , however, backgound processing is in progress.

Your comments please what to do in such a case scenario. It will help other applicants too . Therefore, I am starting this thread.

Yes you can cancel the bookings during the visa application process. You don't need them to begin with. Just the printed itinerary is needed.

I did not knw that point at the time of submitting the application. I just followed instructions by clicking this "question mark" sign what documents can be submitted under each section on the GCC portal.

They used the terminology confirmed tickets, confirmed hotel bookings etc if my memory serves me right.
