Visitor visa as tourist

I want to visit my friend in canada,
Currently i am in newzealand on student visa and i have an indian passport.
I want to know what should be the content of my application letter so i can get maximum possibilities for visa approval.
My stay will be of 2-3 weeks in canada.

You must prove your ties to both NZ and India.
