Visitor Visa Approved but no correspondence letter received, is this normal?

The title pretty much says it all. My parents applied online for visitor visa, they got the passport stamped back with valid visa and everything but when I applied my work permit I remember receiving a Correspondence letter which said to carry it with the passport and show it at the border. However my parents didn't get any such letter in their mycic account. Is this normal for a visitor visa?


Is a Correspondence letter/ LOI/ POE not required for visitor visa?

A TRV stamped in the passport is what matters. Correspondence letters are not issued for TRVs/do not add any additional value
