Visitor visa applying Spouse open work permit.

Hello, my husband has a PR in Canada.
We already applied inland sponsorship in september 2022, received the AOR, passed the medical and waiting....
I had also applied the spouse open work permit SOWP when i received the AOR and waiting...
My question is. I am staying in canada since july 2022 and it will be 6 months in december, my multiple entry visa expires in 2024.
Can I stay as maintained status since we are waiting for sowp????
I dont want to be out of status in december so i dont know if i need to extend my stay as visitor or it is done automatically when i applied sowp.
Please help clarify.

Hello, I also have same kind of query.
1> I am in Canada on a V1 Visa (Stamped till May 2024) to support my spouse who is on Closed-WP (WP-ICT).
2> After Landing in Canada, I got Visitor Record for 6 months and it expires on Feb 2023.
3> I too have applied for an Inland Open Work Permit in September 2022 and am waiting for the Final Decision.

Do I need to Extend my Visitor Record or my SPOW Application makes me Implied Status and Legal to stay even after
visitor record expires. Please respond for valid guideline
