Visitor visa applied in Dec 2023

My sister is currently studying in the UK and she applied for a visitor visa to visit Canada in December 2023. However, we have not received any updates regarding her application to date.

You will not get any updates for a while. Processing is around 270 days.

Thank you for your response. The 8th month started today. I tried filling in Web forms twice, the first time there was no response, and the second time was around a month ago, and this time I got a response requesting the same documents that we applied with the application. The email also stated that we would receive a response in 5 business days. However, we have not received any response to date.

Waiting since Oct last year - applied on an old portal.

The processing period has gone unto now 300 days.

How soon after the webform you got the response? I am also thinking to submit a webform
