Visitor Visa Application Refused - Please help

My girlfriend lives in Canada and I in Egypt. I'm trying to visit her this winter break on the 22nd of December to the 21st of January (a total of 31 days) and applied last week for a Temporary Resident Visa but my application was refused. In the refusal Letter it was stated that my application did not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations. In short, I did not satisfy the officer and this was checked off as to why my application was refused

"You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

-Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
-Purpose of visit
-Personal assets and financial status"

In the application I only stated she was a friend because I didn't want them to think I'm going to try and sneak my way into getting a green card. I also don't have a job because I'm currently studying at University and so my ties to my country are very limited and so was not able to submit efficient evidence to why I would want to return. However I am not going to overstay as I do have a second semester to go back to and a family to be with) How can I show them that? and prove that I will in fact go back? I have submitted my Proof of Enrollment in the German University in Cairo but not a flight ticket as I was planning to purchase that afterwards.

Documents I submitted:
-Completed forms (IMM5257, IMM5645, Schedule 1 (IMM527B_1) and the VFS Consent Form)
-Letter of Invitation + her birth certificate
-2 photos with my name on the back
-Application fees
-Travel History (Scanned copies of my passport) (I have been to the United States of America and the United Kingdom and was never rejected a visa before)
-Means of financial support (I would be paying for travel costs while she would be aiding in living costs (food and lodging) but I only stated my mom would be covering the expenses of this trip)
-My mom's proof of employment
-My mom's original and stamped bank statement for the past 6 months
-A letter of support from my mom stating her approval of me going on this visit
-My passport
-A photocopy of my ID
-A booking.com printed screenshot showing my reservation at a hotel nearby
-My birth certificate in English and Arabic
-Proof of enrollment at the German University in Cairo

Before submitting my application an officer at the Visa Application Center reviewed my documents and forms and said I was set to go. However, as stated earlier, the immigration officer was not convinced that I would return to Egypt. I plan to reapply soon and am wondering about a few things.

First of all, do I state she is my girlfriend or keep it as just friends? I do not intend to marry her anytime soon and sneak my way into getting a green card, this is merely a visit but there is no way of proving such a thing. Also would my purpose of visit be Tourism or Visiting Family/Friends? I stated Tourism in my previous application.
Secondly, would including a flight ticket this time around be enough to convince them I am indeed going back on the 21st? Having a return ticket already purchased or do I need additional documents? I am also going to state clearly that I would have to go back for my second semester of school and because of my family on a separate paper.
Also, Should I state that my mom is paying still or do I add that my girlfriend's aiding with the living expenses? Perhaps adding that would remove the whole "Financial Status" problem as my mom's bank account did not have that much money in it. If so would I have to include HER bank statement for the past 6 months as well?
What do I need to prove I have family ties in Egypt? I already filled in the Family Information form. Also, what do I need to show them I do not have any personal assets either, I'm only a student I don't have any lands or businesses or companies I own.
One last thing; does shortening the duration of stay (29th Dec to 21st Jan instead) heighten my chances to get the visa? I would prefer to spend Christmas there but if it's riskier then I would go for only 3 weeks instead.

I'm aware I'm asking a lot of questions but any help is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What is your nationality? What is your status in Egypt? How old are you?

I'm an Egyptian and I'm 19 years old. As for status I am not sure what exactly you mean. If marital status then never married and if like study wise? A university student.

Edit: Oh got what you mean, I'm a citizen.

If you are an adult (usually an adult is someone over 18) then you can't be using your "mom's" income, employment, etc. as a main argument on an application. You have to show you are financially stable yourself. As you are still a student then you would have to have money in your bank account to afford the trip, regardless of sponsors and helps you might have. Usually people have money transfere into their accounts AT LEAST 3 months BEFORE their application.

Besides that, you already lied in your application, changing from friend to gf would just make it clearer... and it seems Canada already is suspicious about your relationship as they think you have more reasons to immigrant than not.

Four week sis way too much for someone in your situation... I would stick to 2 weeks. You need to justify financially 2 weeks. At least 1k per week after accommodation.

You need a letter from your university where it is stated when you are expected back, the courses you are attending, when do the courses begin etc. This will help you establish intent.

See, in Egypt we're only allowed access to our bank accounts after 21 (or around that age) so that isn't exactly an option unfortunately. Is there any other way? Also, I didn't think I was lying nor did I think they even cared what her relationship is with me as long as we dont get married.
Thank you for taking the time to answer me :)

Then it seems you are still a minor. Pleas follow the rules for minors http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/minors.asp

As a minor you don't need to show personal funds, so your mother's funds are OK.

Yes you are lying if you are not telling the truth. You said she was your friend when she is more than that. So at least be consistent in future applications related to this same trip.

I'll add the documents for minors travelling alone anyway and see what happens. And yes I will be consistent as to not raise any suspicions.

I have decided to include these new statements and documents:

-State she will be aiding in the living costs (and include her bank statements for the past 6 months)
-State that I will be staying at her house
-State that the purpose of visit is to visit her
-State that I am going for only 3 weeks (30 Dec to 19 Jan) during the winter break
-State that I have to go back because of my mother and sister living alone
-State that I have a second semester of University to complete this year
-Include the University schedule for this year
-Include a copy of my flight ticket (return ticket)
-Include my Dad's Bank Statements for the past 6 months (instead of mom's as his has more money)
-Include my Dad's Proof of Employment
-Include a signed Letter of Support from my Dad stating I will be back on the 19th and giving his consent on the trip
-Include a signed Letter of Support from my Mom stating I will be back on the 19th and giving her consent on the trip

Thank you for your help :)
