Visitor Visa Application Pakistan July 2022

Hi.
I have submitted my Visitor visa application online for me and my family on 15 July, 2022.
Our biometrics are completed.
It's been 17 days there's no update.
Our planned trip starting date is 10 Aug, 2022 which is soon to come.
I'm now extremely worried. What should I do?
How long to wait.

You can do nothing but wait. You can check current processing times for your country. If you had a planned trip for 10 August, 15 July is just too late to apply for a visit visa. The processing times vary a lot and many on this forum have been waiting for months for approval.

Oh okay thank you. This is my first time applying for a visa. I searched and it showed that for visitor visa it takes only 15 - 20 days. And that one must apply a month before the planned date.

Where did you read that? Processing from pakistan averages 135 days. Has eligiblity review even started. You will most likely have to postpone.

I'm not sure where did you get that information. May be you get lucky and get visa soon but 15-20 days is not the reality.
