Hi I'm doing an Apeal on a visitor visa that was refused, would i still need to go for a biometric?

On what basis are you appealing? Highly unlikely you'll be successful. And it's going to take a lot of time and likely cost you quite a bit of money. You should reapply instead with a stronger application to address the reasons why you were refused.

Did you mean you are reapplying from scratch for a new TRV? If that's the case, yes, you must provide your biometrics again
