Sure - you can definitely try applying for another extension.

I am going to apply online to extend visitor visa for my father. Under his document checklist says he need to provide proof of financial funds i.e his bank statements from past 4 months, bank draft in canadian currency, any canadian bank account on his name if money is transferred into his account etc.. My question is Can I add my father as joint account holder in my bank? Also, if for his visa extension, Do I need to submit any documents from my side as well i.e. cover letter/invitation letter for support etc., my bank information, employment documents etc the way we provided in the beginning for getting his visitor visa??

1. Yes you can add him as a joint account holder, I did the same thing.
2. I submitted a visa extension online for my parents, and was never asked to submit anything of myself.
