I'm on implied status waiting for a decision on a visitor record. Was wondering
1) What are the chances of being eligible to apply for an OWP meanwhile?
2) Can I applied for it without this affects either Visitor Record or my PR application in the future?

I think none. I'm not a skilled worker. But I thought I should try?? There's no flights back to my home country yet. I'm literally stuck in Canada.
I'm also being sponsored by my dad under FCS ( I'm an adult. He is a lonely Canadian) but I don't think that would get me a WP either.

You’d have to go thru the steps for a LMIA.
And that would be a closed permit

Hello, when you applied for your visitor record was your visa already expired? or did you apply prior to your visa expiration?

I was submitted visitor visa.all finished and also Biometric finished.im waiting for the final decesion

Please would you mind typing your timeline? I submitted my application for visitor record in May

As suggested before, you only qualify for a closed WP with LMIA only once you get a job offer. But before you initiate any application you need to have a decision on your visitor visa, you can't start another application based on implied status.

Unless your are in one of the skilled jobs needed in Canada it may be very tough to get a WP and for an employer to get an LMIA due to the large amount of people who have permission to work but who are unemployed.
