VISITOR TO WORK PERMIT

Hi po sa mga members, mga admin, may katanungan lang po ako, posible po ba na umapply ng work permit sa border with positive lmia, me and my wife are currently on visitors, and i just got the LMIA for food service supervisor, I have work permit before which is expired my wife before holds an open work permit.Can we apply together at the border and get my work permit and open work permit,what are the chances and whats the risk applying at the border?TIA sa mga sasagot!Godbless Everyone!!

Do you both hold multiple entry visitor visas? And do you both still have valid status in Canada as visitors?

I don't think you can get a WP issued at the border unless you have a visa-exempt passport. Is that your case?

we don't have entry visa and we are not from visa exempt country. We just have our status as restored to visitor.

In that case you cannot apply at the border. You'll need to apply from outside of Canada.
