Visitor to WORK permit for spouse of International student

Hey friends, does anybody know when can spouse of international student apply for work permit?
spouse is in Canada on Visitor visa and His partner is international student and she is coming here in Dec
So when he should apply for work permit? any ideas ?

Have she granted the study permit? If yes, he can apply anytime to change from visitor visa to work permit

Her application was approved but she is still in india, she’ll get study permit next month when she comes to Canada

Just warning you that spouses of international students are not guaranteed SOWP. It says they can apply.
