Hello,
I am a spouse of an international student and I arrived in Canada on a visitor visa in May this year. I applied to change my status to open work permit and it was granted today.
However, they did not ask for my passport - they are just sending me a work permit.
My question is: Can I travel in and out of Canada using my visitor visa and carrying the work permit with me? The visa is for multiple entries and it is valid until 2026.
Another question: my visa is tied to my wife's study permit, which is valid until the end of 2020. What happens if my spouse graduate early? Will my work permit stop being valid?
