Visitor status

Hi everyone, Have a few questions about this whole visitor status thing. My status in up on the 3rd of next month, and for the application it says I need proof of support. My husband recently just got a job in our new area so his full paycheck won't be until 2 days from now, so we are waiting until then to mail it it. We are a little confused if it is even necessary because we are applying for my PR, but it is outland, so I am unsure.

I'm a little unclear about the extension as well. Do I apply for it before or after I apply for perm residency? Do I need to apply for it at all after I apply for perm residency?

You need to extend your visit. Applying outland does not give you implied status or allow you to remain in Canada.
