I'm about to submit an extension for my visitor status, since my first 6 months are almost gone. I'm also planning to apply for common-law PR + SOWP in the following weeks.
When filling out imm5708 it asks me for the original and current purpose of my visit. Should I say that I'm finishing collecting the documents for my PR+SOWP? Or would I say I'm visiting my partner?
Also, in the PR documents, when they ask for dates of my current status in Canada, should I write my original date for leaving the country and add a note saying that I'm awaiting for my Visitor Record (visitor extension) to be approved? Kinda confusing this part.
