Hi everyone,

I’m currently waiting for the result of my visitor record application in Canada, which I submitted after my work permit expired. The current IRCC processing time says 128 days, and it’s been about 89 days since I applied.

I’m wondering if anyone else has recently gone through this process and could share their timeline or experience?
Specifically:
  • How long did it take to get a decision?
  • Did you face any delays or requests for additional documents?
  • Any tips on what to do while waiting?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

I assume you applied for the visitor record before and not after your work permit expired. If you applied after, then assuming you also applied to restore your status.
