My PGWP will expire in a couple of months on January 11th, 2024. I am planning to apply for a Visitor Record within a few days. When I go to the Document Checklist page, there is a form for TRV (IMM 5257) other than the main form for the Visitor record (IMM 5708). Although the TRV form (IMM 5257) is optional, I need to submit it too because I have a US tourist visa interview on the 26th of February. So, my question is
1. If I fill up the TRV form (IMM 5257) along with the Visitor Record form (IMM 5708), how long will the validity of my TRV as I have a valid PGWP till January 11th?
OR
2. Do you guys suggest me to apply for TRV when my Visitor record application gets approved?
