Hello,

During my time in Toronto, my study permit and TRV were about to expire on July 30, 2018. Hence, I applied for a visitor's extension a week before that and due to an event in USA, I travelled to Texas on July 30. Please note that I also applied for express entry and received Invitation and currently in IP1. Couple days ago, I received my Visitor's Record but the document states "This doesn't authorize re-rentry". After couple calls to CIC i got to know that, my application was to remain in canada but not to re enter. However, the border/airport immigration security has the authority to accept or deny my entrance if they believe or like my reasons.

I have to go back to Canada as I have my family, career but really not sure what to do.

1) what are the chances of accepting me back?
2) what reasons would the border security will accept?
3) If they do deny my entrance, can I go back to USA or will I be deported to Home country?
4) If i get denied, will that have an effect on my PR application?
5) Does this have any affect if i travel via road and talk to border security instead of flight?

Anyone who has any knowledge about this, please reply as this can help my career a lot. Thanks!!
