Visitor Record extension?

Hello everyone,

I just have a little doubt on the IMM5708E application to extend my daughters (4 and 3 years old) stay in Canada for the first time.
I submitted an open work permit couple of months for me and the Mother/Wife is study permit holder.
everyone knows that this application meant for visitors but the application keep asking for the purposes which make me confused about:

1) COMING TO CANADA :
- The original purpose for coming to Canada?
so, is the answer should be (Tourism) or (Other) to tell them that they accompanying their mother for her study?

2) DETAILS OF VISIT TO CANADA
- Purpose of my visit ?
is the answer should be (Tourism) or (Super Visa for parents and Grandparents) or (Family Visit) or (Other) and explain again that their mother is a student?

3) EMPLOYMENT
- The application can't be (VALIDATED) if you leave that section blank?

Hello!

I was looking for information regarding my situation and I found your post. Unfortunately nobody answer your questions but I suppose that you applied anyway and because of that maybe you know better regarding this topic. I applied to extend my son stay in Canada. He had a study permit but it expired after one year. Before this study permit expired I applied for a visitor visa however, that was one month and 10 days before and I didn't receive any response yet. I am planning to travel outside the country in 2 weeks so I am a little bit scare about not getting his visa on time. Could you tell me how much time took you to have a respond and of course if you have any problem with your application?. Thanks in advance!!
