Hello All
Recently, my WP got extended and my CEC PR application is in progress. My Daughter is a US citizen and living with me in Canada.
I checked for the extension of the Visitor Record for her and notice if I will apply online it asks for a $100 fee.
I was wondering if we really need to pay this as when she entered Canada, the first time, at the airport, they just issue the visitor record for her based on my Work Permit.

Is there any other way to extend her visitor record. I am ok to pay the fee if that is applicable for extension only.

Yes, you need to extend her visitor record. Otherwise she will fall out of status in Canada.

Yes but I like to know whether I need to pay the fee of $100 as well or not for an extension.
As when we came the first time no fee was charged for her Visitor record.

Yes, you need to pay money for the extension because you want your child to remain in Canada longer and retain legal status. US citizens are allowed to enter Canada visas-free which is why you weren't charged a fee on entry. Remaining in Canada longer is another matter. You need to pay for the extension.

Thanks. I will proceed with the process now.
