Visitor Record due to expiring Work Permit

Hello,

My work permit is expiring soon and I need to apply for Visitor Record to maintain my status in Canada while I wait for sometime to receive ITA or explore any other options.

Can someone please guide me as what to mention in “Purpose of Stay” in the form?

I cannot mention Visit as I do not have any family in canada.
Has someone been in similar situation who has been through this process?
