Visitor or temporary resident permit holder?

Hello!
I am filling up my application for citizenship, and I have to give dates of my status in the previous 5 years. They list visitor and temporary resident permit holder as different status. Whst is the difference between them?

Also, I got a work permit in the middle of my PR process. That changed my status from visitor to worker, I guess?

TRPs are special permits for inadmissible people.

A TRP is for someone with an inadmissibility.

There are two types of legal status - Temporary and permanent residents. If you have a work permit and you are "in status" then you are a visitor with authorization to work subject to the terms and conditions of the employment authorization.

Refugees get work permits that "do not confer status" meaning that they don't have temporary resident's status.
