Visitor or student visa along with spousal application

but what if i am in canada and the VO ask for PPR...do i have to send it to NDVO ..

Yes, if you applied outland through New Delhi, then you will likely need to submit your passport to New Delhi if/when approved.

Easiest way would be to send it by courier, have them deliver it to a friend/relative in India, then have them courier it back to you.

Medical exams can be done by any IRCC approved panel physician.

If you are in Canada when you get PPR, there will be an option to send the passport to Ottawa.
