Hi there,
Wondering if someone can help me out-about to send in our spousal sponsorship application (today, yay!!!) and one last minor thing I wanted to cover... When asked how long I've been a visitor currently in Canada-I landed January 1, 2013- what would be date "through" that I would be a visitor? Would it be the day I send the application out? I have implied visitor status after submitting Inland application so I'm lost on this one...
Thanks! 8)

I did an Outland application and left it blank.

Hopefully you sent in the open work permit application!

It's worth saying again, as noted by amikety, you only have implied status if you submit an open work permit application with the inland PR application.

edit: (just saw your other thread where you are submitting an OWP)

That tidbit about the OWP sometimes causes an argument, so I leave it out until need be ;)

No OWP, NO Implied Status!

I would still leave the "to" date blank. I wrote a letter of "extras" for all my forms. I noted on that form the to date was "Present." CIC already knew I had no intention of leaving Canada. I was rather clear about that on the Visitor's extension I submited a few months earlier :)
