I wonder if the reason for my mother's extension for babysitting my new born baby will have better chance or not. This will be the second extension. Thank you

It sounds like a valid reason to me. Just explain in the extension why you need her and why you cannot do it yourself. I would include the baby's birth certificate to support this claim as well.
