Visitor Extension - No Advise From CIC / Not Heard Anything

Hello

My visa expired on June 23 2016. I sent visitor extension PAPER application on June 2 which was received June 4. The application is for 6 months extension until Dec 23, 2016. It is now almost 2 months and I have not heard anything from CIC yet. I tried to link up the application via CIC GC Key, but it is still not there.

What if I don't hear from them until Dec 23 2016? What do I need to do?

Your are on implied status now while waiting for the result of your extension of stay, If your status or duration of stay in Canada is still valid from the time the CIC received your application for visa extension.

Based on what i've read here, CIC doesn't send AOR on visa extension paper application. Just wait on your mailbox for the result after 4 months.

Based on current processing times/Paper application, 115 days and they are currently working on the application received last april 4, 2016.
