Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can give me a little help. I recently applied for inland permanent residency, application signed for March 5 2018. I also included an OWP. My application for a visitor extension was received February 28th 2018; my current work permit expires at the start of April so I wanted to make sure I still had status should the application be sent back unprocessed. I have just noticed they updated a few of the forms and I believe my application will be returned unprocessed because a few of the forms may be out of date, which I’m not too stressed out about because I can just refill the forms and send them back in immediately within a day or so of receiving the unprocessed documents.
My question is if the forms are returned before I hear back about the visitor extension and my work permit has expired, does this mean my status is illegal or will I be grand until they make a decision about the visitor extension? I want to make sure everything is above board and my status is 100% legal throughout the process. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reading this message.
