I recently sent my file for PR sponsorship (spousal) OUTLAND. Here is my situation, I am at this time in Canada under Implied status (with extension of stay asked since my current work permit expired Dec 1st 2015). I will go with my wife in Belgium in a week for Christmas to spend time with my family and will come back end of December. I understand that I will lose my implied status as soon as I will leave the country. The plan is to spend a few more months with my wife in Canada after Christmas and as a visitor. Then, at the time I will come back to Canada end of Dec, I will have a blank start and will have to justify that I have insurance. I am at this time covered under the benefits of my wife (in Canada)for MED, DENTAL, VISION, HEARING and TRAVEL. Would that be enough if I justify this or should I buy one of these packages like Greenshield for visitor in Canada? Thanks very much for your time, Kevin
