I had applied for visitor visa to Canada on 5th November 2020. (Purpose: TO VISIT FRIEND FOR 2 WEEKS, HAD SUBMITTED ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS) The next day i received a request to pay the fees and i did the same immediately. On the same day i received request to submit biometrics but unfortunately couldn't complete the same due to covid lockdown. I did raise a CSE to IRCC regarding this case about not being able to complete biometrics. I did get a reply that i can complete my biometrics as soon as VAC are operational. In June 2021 i traveled out of India for 6 months (to join a ship in US, [PS: I am a seafarer working on Cruise Ships]). In December 2021 when VAC were operational i had a chance to complete my biometrics and the status was updated on IRCC portal (OLD ONE). After few weeks i came across the new portal and i was confused if i should apply using the new portal. Hence i raised a CSE to confirm the same. I got a reply that my application is still under process. It's been more than 70 days since i have completed my biometrics and more than 15 months since i have applied, but i don't have any decision yet. I will be travelling out of India in March again and will be onboard a ship for the next 8-9 months. I am absolutely confused here.... I someone was in the same situation, please help me with your comments.
PS: I have travelled more than 10 times out of India for work purpose in last 5 years. Have good financial history.
