Visiting Visa??

Hi all I was wondering I am packing up our house here in Arizona ... husband of 10 years is up in Canada since July 8th working at his new job... I plan on quitting my job here at the end of this month and he is flying back down in Oct to drive up our things in our house here. I am planing on going with him as far as close to the boarder and then his sister is coming down and bringng me across as a visitor and hubby will drive over with our things alone since I cant really come over with our things until PR is final. We got the approval for him to sponsor me but nothing else.

My question I guess I should get to it is do I need to apply for a visiting visa since I am coming from the states? I have my passport already.. I just read so much here but most everyone is coming so far..

Assuming you are American, then you are visa exempt and don't require a visit visa to come to Canada as a tourist.

Yes I am American and I have been to Canada many many times on holiday with husband to visit family and never needed one before but reading all this and plan on waiting there and changing the address for paperwork to there I didnt know. thank you for your answer

would it put a red flag on the application if we change the address to canada ? we applied as Outbound in April
