Hi there,
I am just wondering , that during my PhD studies I've been to USA as a visiting research scholar. The period was 2 years. This job category was included me in my host university as a Faculty/Staff. Its a paid job, but the salary was sponsored from my home counrty(as fellowship/scholaship) and partially from my USA host university.
Now I am finsihing my PhD degree back in my home country and applying to canadian immigration. My question is, Should I consider my "USA visiting research scholar period" as WORK EXPERIENCE (or paid work experience) or not..??

I appreciate for your time
Thanks

Yeah I also assume that its more like a Research Assistant (RA)...
What do you mean by ministrial thingy ..???
Thanks

According to that I've got the minimum 67 points . But I think I cannot fulfil the 1 year job within last10 years since the RA is not the part.
What do you suggest me to do in this situation? I am about to finish my PhD within few months.
Thanks
