Hello,

Please help me out how to find a way to visit my family (wife and two kids, one of was born in Canada)?
they are still waiting for their hearing to be rescheduled and it took more six months now. I'm left alone in my home country Iraq. Is there a way that i can be able to get a visitor visa to visit them in Canada?

thanks much in advance,
Hemin

There is no "special path" you have to do a TRV application as anyone else.

The chances are low, it seems very likely you want to join your family for good and not return to your home country once you reach Canada. It is your duty to prove otherwise and that will be quite hard.

Thank you so much for the quick feedback. What if i wait until my family will get the status and then i will apply for TRV, won't i have better chances? by then, will there be any privilege given to people like me to visit my family? i have my second son born in Canada and i haven't touched him yet. it's been six months now :(

appreciate it

Nothing changes for TRV.

When they become PR then you can apply under family spnsorship. Please post your case in the relevant forum

Good luck.
