Visiting Canada

Hi guys, I am planning to visit Canada for a week in November, but I had a couple of concerns. I originally grew up in Canada for most of my teenage life and moved to the United States after becoming citizen like 3 years ago. When I was living in Canada I had refugee status but my family decided to obtain US green cards at the same time. The Canadian government told us that if we wanted to become landed immigrants of Canada we must give up our green cards. My parents decided to keep their green cards. So the Canadian government after a few years told us we must leave Canada and become residents of the United States. They even issued deportation orders. We left voluntarily before the deportation date. My question is, can I return to Canada as a US citizen for 1 week in November without being turned away at the airport? Thanks in advance.

No, not if you were issued a deportation order or where included in one for your whole family. You would have to apply for ARC (Application to return to Canada)

I'm sorry if I sound naive, I have done some research on ARC, but can you tell me where I have to apply to, how to send the $400 fee, and a possible estimate on how long the application takes?
