Visiting Canada with renewed passport

Hi,

I got multiple entry Canadian visit visa last year through VFS and planning to make visit this year but my passport renewal is due in next 10 months. Does the passport renewal has any impact on existing visa? Can I travel while having new passport and valid visa on old passport?

Will appreciate if someone can share similar experience.

Yes, you should be good to travel with your old visa, just make sure you carry both your passports while traveling and when you are in Canada.
