I am a Canadian citizen who has lived and worked in the USA for 40 years. I have a green card. Recently, I contacted the Canadian Embassy and was told that I would have no trouble entering Canada with my Green Card. My question is - will it get me back into the USA ? I have a handicapped sister who lives in Windsor, Ont. and I desperately need to visit her. p.s. I am working on getting my passport but need to see her b4 then.

Thank you - I contacted the U.S Immigration and they informed me that I would have no problem using my Green Card to get back and forth from Windsor, Ont to Detroit. MI. Even with a Green Card that has no expiration date ...(a very old one )
