Hi there,

I'm a Canadian citizen and my spouse has just been issued a TRV to visit Canada.
My spouse found out recently she's pregnant and will be giving birth to our baby within the next few months.
We already have a child together who is a Canadian citizen, she knows that she still has to apply for PR to stay in Canada long term.

Reading the forums, most say she will be refused entry into Canada at the airport by CBSA while others disagree.
She was not interviewed for the TRV and not asked if she was pregnant at the embassy.

Reason for doing it here is that the conditions are very bad right now in her country for child birth.

I'm ready to deposit $10,000 at the local hospital for the birth
The child would be a Canadian citizen anyway overseas as I (the father) am a Canadian citizen and thus, how our other child received citizenship
She will not be staying in Canada for more than 6 months.

What are the chances of her being refused or granted entry as we simply want the child to be born in a safe environment.

Thank You
